Could you please explain me how I can make an online reservation?
The following is a description of how you can make an on-line booking. Firstly, to make your reservation you have to choose the type of guestroom where you would like to stay. Once you have selected the guestroom you would like to stay at, you will have to fill all the required fields and click on “send” in the online reservation form.
Do I have to send my credit card number through the Internet to book?
No. Although a credit card number is required to secure your reservation made via the Internet - we require a credit or debit card for we charge a 30 percent deposit to secure your booking. We accept Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Eurocard. The remainder of the balance is due until departure day.
To protect you against the unauthorized use of your credit card, you can forward you credit card details by phone or fax. If you prefer we will contact you.
How do I know that my reservation request has been registered?
Our email system will automatically notify you that we have received your reservation request. Please pay special attention to your email address and your credit card number. After 24H00 – weekdays - you will receive an email confirming your reservation as been successfully booked.
The room rates are per room or per person?
All our listed rates are per person and per night. Breakfast included. Rates also include service and Value Added Tax. Prices are displayed in Euros.
Do you have any special offers during certain time of the year?
Yes we do. Please do check it with our Reservations Department.
We have children, what is your children policy?
Children up to 4 years free of charge and we can also provide a free cot.
Communicating guestrooms are available on request.
Do you have handicapped guestrooms?
Yes we do – 4 guestrooms are suitable for wheelchair users. The Staff will gladly be of assistance, you just need to let us know your requirements.
Are you open all year round?
Quinta da Bela Vista is open all year round.
Do you offer any kind of pick-up service at the airport?
We do not have an airport shuttle. On request we can organize a transfer from and to the airport – selected taxi drivers are appointed - 00H30 to 00H35 transfer. Cost: 30 €.
You will need to send us at your earliest convenience, your flight details.
Would we need to hire a car?
Only if you wish to explore the Island. The Reception Staff will gladly provide all the necessary information, as well as proceed with your request.
We would like to remind you that Funchal is in reach – a 20-minute walk or there is a complimentary hotel 8-seater minibus into Funchal and back during the day from Monday to Friday and on Saturday morning.
Is there a dress code at Quinta da Bela Vista?
We wouldn’t say so, although we do recommend a Jacket for Dinner Time and a Dark Suite or Black Tie for Christmas & New Year’s Gala Dinners. If you prefer, during those events, Jacket and Tie will be welcomed.
